Besos de mami // Dos Borreguitas

This week I'm so happy Nicole and I get to shine the "Spot Light" on Dos Borreguitas! When I opened up the package they sent me I literally LOL. The shirts inside caused instant flashbacks of my childhood. The spanish phrases on the shirts were the same ones that my parents used to use. In the American culture it would be like "The early bird catches the worm"

The Dos Borreguitas shirts fit so perfectly, and the quality remains the same after the wash! They are produced using American Apparel organic T's (my personal favorite).

Can you spot the snail? Gross.

Cynthia Garza is the founder and owner of Dos Borreguitas (Two little Sheep) and once Nicole and I approached her, she was more than happy to help us highlight companies such as hers. We didn't have the pleasure to share a cup of coffee with her,  but we still had the opportunity to have a q&a. I can sense the excitement she has about life, and the firework love for Dos Borreguitas. For the first portion of the interview please head over to Lillies and Leon. Besides..Lucas never disappoints with his little Mr. smile!

Q:  What do you enjoy doing on your free time?

A:  I love hitting up art museums, having a blast in Zumba class and majorly overdosing on TV shows (like watching -a-whole-season-in-one-sitting kind of overdose.

Q:  Tell us your top mom "essentials".

A:  Lots of coffee; comfy Tom's; my "real" Canon Rebel camera; no purse - I carry a small wallet in my diaper bag; and a fun and updated music playlist so my girls and I can dance to while we get dressed in the morning.

Q:  What/who is your biggest inspiration?

A:  Besides my mother and grandmother, it's definitely Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor. What a fearless, strong, smart and wise woman! And I love that she's already appeared twice as a guest on Sesame Street. It makes me so hopeful to have her as a role model for own two hijitas.

Gracias Cynthia for believing in your dream, and being a superhero juggling MAMI! We admire Mami's like you.

xx. Mami Karla
